FAKE IDs ADVISORY

Alcohol Enforcement officers in several states have been finding fake IDs and fake drivers licenses that are shown as valid on ID scanners, or show only the Date of Birth on the ID Scanner. These fakes often contain blacklight features and hologram markings on them.

These IDs are being purchased though the internet and can be difficult to trace, but they can be spotted. To detect these quality fakes licensees are advised to utilize an ID checking guidebook and give IDs presented a thorough review. There are minor differences between these fakes and genuine ID documents that can be detected with a careful review and use of an ID checking guide.
