- News Release December 14, 2009
- As can be seen from the letter below which was sent to all off-sale sellers of alcoholic products the commission became aware of potential violations of Nebraska revised statute section 53-172 regarding sale in the original packages. The purpose of the letter was to make licensees aware of the law since it appears that many retailers were ignorant of its existence. Original Package Letter
- Effective July 20, 2009 the Department of Motor Vehicles began issuing ID's and operators licenses using a central issuance system. As part of this process a 30 day interim ID or operators license printed on high security paper, the 30 day interim paper ID is an acceptable form of ID to establish proof of age.
