SMOKING BAN NEWS

Due to the upcoming state wide no smoking ban (effective June 2009), any outdoor smoking areas where you want alcohol to be allowed will need to be approved by the Commission and added to your liquor license. You may apply for one of the two types of areas, beer garden or sidewalk cafe defined here. To make application for this area click here for the necessary form. All questions regarding guidelines on how the area needs to be enclosed may be addressed to the local governing body. A copy of the smoking ban may be viewed at Nebraska Clean Air Act of 2008.

SPECIAL DESIGNATED LICENSES
As of August 1, 2008 the local law enforcement statement is no longer required to be filed with Special Designated License applications.
